What to do
At the centre of the home (the Brahmasthana), worship Ganesha and make the sankalpa for the peace of the house.
घर के मध्य (ब्रह्मस्थान) में गणेश पूजन कर घर की शान्ति का संकल्प लें।

What to do
Set the kalasha at the north-east and worship it with roli, akshata and flowers, inviting the sacred waters.
ईशान कोण में कलश स्थापित कर रोली, अक्षत और फूलों से पूजन करें, पवित्र जलों का आवाहन करते हुए।
Placez le kalasha au nord-est et honorez-le de roli, d’akshata et de fleurs, en invitant les eaux sacrées.
गङ्गे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति। नर्मदे सिन्धु कावेरि जलेऽस्मिन् सन्निधिं कुरु॥
Gange cha yamune chaiva godavari sarasvati, Narmade sindhu kaveri jale’smin sannidhim kuru.
O Ganga and Yamuna, Godavari and Sarasvati, Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri: be present in this water.
हे गंगा, यमुना, गोदावरी, सरस्वती, नर्मदा, सिन्धु और कावेरी, इस जल में उपस्थित हों।

What to do
Carry the kalasha through the house, sprinkling water with mango leaves in each direction and each room, beginning at the north-east and moving clockwise.
कलश लेकर घर में घूमें, आम के पत्तों से हर दिशा और हर कमरे में जल छिड़कें, ईशान से आरम्भ कर दाहिनी ओर।
Portez le kalasha dans la maison en aspergeant d’eau avec les feuilles de manguier chaque direction et chaque pièce, en commençant au nord-est et en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

Wave the lamp in every room, ask forgiveness for anything missed, and share the prasada. The Vastu Havan may follow.
हर कमरे में दीप घुमाएँ, भूल-चूक की क्षमा माँगें, और प्रसाद बाँटें। इसके बाद वास्तु हवन किया जा सकता है।
