The Panchang,
in your pocket.
The same sky as panchang.ca — every hour and every festival, prepared for your own city. In English, हिन्दी and Français.
Signing in is optional — the whole Panchang works without an account.
Everything the day asks, on one screen
A panchang answers small, urgent questions at the kitchen door. The app answers them in the words you would use yourself, and keeps the proper name underneath so you can say it aloud at the puja.
The day at a glance
The moon’s dial with today’s tithi, the hour it began and the hour it ends; the weekday and the lunar date in both scripts; sunrise, the nakshatra and tonight’s moon.
Festivals, and how they are kept
Navrātri’s nine nights, Pitṛ Pakṣa, the five days of Deepawali, Ganesh Utsav, Chhath and Holi each open with a banner that counts the days — and numbered steps say what to do and when: light the lamp at sunset, not once it is dark.
Right now, in plain words
A live card says what this hour is good for and how long it lasts. Below it, the day’s shubh muhurat and quiet hours, each marked ✓ or ✕ with its proper name beneath — Abhijit, Rāhu Kāla.
Good times through the day and night
The choghaḍiyā from sunrise to the next sunrise in one coloured ribbon — swipe for the night, tap a part for its hours — and the day’s five signs, the five limbs of the pañcāṅga, in plain words.
Six charts of the sky
The moon’s month, daylight through the year, where the moon is, the planetary hours, the cautions ahead and the sun’s season — each opens full screen from More about today.
Your numbers and your rāśi
Aṅka Jyotiṣa finds your Mūlāṅka, Bhāgyāṅka and Nāmāṅka from a birth date and a name; the Rāśi Finder finds your moon sign by birth or by name. Keep them in your Profile if you wish, and Rāśiphal opens on your sign.
Bhakti Pāṭha
The prayer library: today’s prayer by the weekday, the daily verses, āratīs and stotras to recite and sing, the rites of the year and prayers by deity — with search.
Nothing left unexplained
Tap any box and a note opens over the screen: what it is, what it is used for, and today’s value — with the box itself lit while you read.
Your city, your language
Sixty-two cities across every time zone of North America, from St. John’s to Honolulu. English, हिन्दी and Français.
It asks for nothing it does not need
No account needed
The whole Panchang works the moment it opens. Signing in with your email only keeps your city and language with you.
You choose the city
It never asks for your phone’s location. You pick a city and a country, and you can change them any time.
Nothing is watched
No advertising, no tracking, no analytics. The numbers and rāśi you keep stay on your phone, and anything you save can be deleted from inside the app.
Prepared, not guessed
Every time comes from the same engine as the printed edition, checked against the published festival dates.
