Lingashtakam

1. Shloka 1

   ब्रह्ममुरारिसुरार्चितलिङ्गं निर्मलभासितशोभितलिङ्गम्। जन्मजदुःखविनाशकलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Brahmamurarisurarchitalingam nirmalabhasitashobhitalingam, Janmajaduhkhavinashakalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   El linga adorado por Brahma, Vishnu y los dioses, puro y resplandeciente, que pone fin al dolor nacido del nacimiento: ante ese linga de Sadashiva me inclino.

   The linga worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu and the gods, pure and shining, which ends the sorrow born of birth: to that linga of Sadashiva I bow.

   ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और देवताओं से पूजित, निर्मल और प्रकाशित, जन्म से उपजे दुःख का नाश करने वाले सदाशिव लिंग को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।

   Le linga honoré par Brahma, Vishnu et les dieux, pur et resplendissant, qui met fin à la douleur née de la naissance : devant ce linga de Sadashiva je m’incline.

2. Shloka 2

   देवमुनिप्रवरार्चितलिङ्गं कामदहं करुणाकरलिङ्गम्। रावणदर्पविनाशनलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Devamunipravararchitalingam kamadaham karunakaralingam, Ravanadarpavinashanalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Adorado por los dioses y por los mejores de los sabios, quemó al deseo y es mina de compasión; humilló el orgullo de Ravana: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Worshipped by gods and the best of sages, it burned desire and is a mine of compassion; it humbled the pride of Ravana: to that linga I bow.

   देवों और श्रेष्ठ मुनियों से पूजित, काम को भस्म करने वाले, करुणा के भण्डार, रावण का दर्प तोड़ने वाले लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Honoré des dieux et des meilleurs sages, il brûla le désir et est un trésor de compassion ; il abattit l’orgueil de Ravana : devant ce linga je m’incline.

3. Shloka 3

   सर्वसुगन्धिसुलेपितलिङ्गं बुद्धिविवर्धनकारणलिङ्गम्। सिद्धसुरासुरवन्दितलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Sarvasugandhisulepitalingam buddhivivardhanakaranalingam, Siddhasurasuravanditalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Ungido con toda fragancia, hace crecer el entendimiento; los siddhas, los dioses y los asuras se inclinan ante él: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Anointed with every fragrance, it makes understanding grow; siddhas, gods and asuras bow to it: to that linga I bow.

   सब सुगन्धों से लेपित, बुद्धि बढ़ाने वाले, सिद्धों, देवों और असुरों से वन्दित लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Oint de tous les parfums, il fait croître l’entendement ; siddhas, dieux et asuras le saluent : devant ce linga je m’incline.

4. Shloka 4

   कनकमहामणिभूषितलिङ्गं फणिपतिवेष्टितशोभितलिङ्गम्। दक्षसुयज्ञविनाशनलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Kanakamahamanibhushitalingam phanipativeshtitashobhitalingam, Dakshasuyajnavinashanalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Adornado con oro y grandes joyas, hermoso con el rey de las serpientes enroscado a su alrededor, puso fin al sacrificio de Daksha: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Adorned with gold and great jewels, beautiful with the king of serpents coiled round it, it brought Daksha’s sacrifice to an end: to that linga I bow.

   सोने और महामणियों से भूषित, नागराज से लिपटे हुए शोभित, दक्ष के यज्ञ का नाश करने वाले लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Paré d’or et de grandes gemmes, beau du roi des serpents enroulé autour, il mit fin au sacrifice de Daksha : devant ce linga je m’incline.

5. Shloka 5

   कुङ्कुमचन्दनलेपितलिङ्गं पङ्कजहारसुशोभितलिङ्गम्। सञ्चितपापविनाशनलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Kunkumachandanalepitalingam pankajaharasushobhitalingam, Sanchitapapavinashanalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Ungido con kumkum y sándalo, hermoso con una guirnalda de lotos, destruye los males acumulados a lo largo del tiempo: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Anointed with kumkum and sandal, lovely with a garland of lotuses, it destroys the wrongs gathered over time: to that linga I bow.

   कुमकुम और चन्दन से लेपित, कमल की माला से सुशोभित, संचित पापों का नाश करने वाले लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Oint de kumkum et de santal, beau d’une guirlande de lotus, il détruit les fautes accumulées : devant ce linga je m’incline.

6. Shloka 6

   देवगणार्चितसेवितलिङ्गं भावैर्भक्तिभिरेव च लिङ्गम्। दिनकरकोटिप्रभाकरलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Devaganarchitasevitalingam bhavairbhaktibhireva cha lingam, Dinakarakotiprabhakaralingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Adorado y servido por las huestes de los dioses con sentimiento y devoción, brilla como diez millones de soles: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Worshipped and served by the hosts of gods with feeling and devotion, it shines like ten million suns: to that linga I bow.

   देवगणों द्वारा भाव और भक्ति से पूजित और सेवित, करोड़ों सूर्यों के समान प्रकाशमान लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Honoré et servi par les cohortes des dieux avec ferveur et dévotion, il brille comme dix millions de soleils : devant ce linga je m’incline.

7. Shloka 7

   अष्टदलोपरिवेष्टितलिङ्गं सर्वसमुद्भवकारणलिङ्गम्। अष्टदरिद्रविनाशितलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Ashtadalopariveshtitalingam sarvasamudbhavakaranalingam, Ashtadaridravinashitalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Rodeado por el loto de ocho pétalos, la causa de la que todo surge, pone fin a las ocho clases de carencia: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Encircled by the eight-petalled lotus, the cause from which all arises, it ends the eight kinds of want: to that linga I bow.

   आठ दलों से घिरे, सबकी उत्पत्ति के कारण, आठों प्रकार की दरिद्रता का नाश करने वाले लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Entouré du lotus à huit pétales, cause d’où tout surgit, il met fin aux huit sortes de manque : devant ce linga je m’incline.

8. Shloka 8

   सुरगुरुसुरवरपूजितलिङ्गं सुरवनपुष्पसदार्चितलिङ्गम्। परात्परं परमात्मकलिङ्गं तत्प्रणमामि सदाशिवलिङ्गम्॥

   Suragurusuravarapujitalingam suravanapushpasadarchitalingam, Paratparam paramatmakalingam tatpranamami sadashivalingam.

   Adorado por Brihaspati y por los mejores de los dioses, siempre honrado con flores de los jardines celestiales, más allá del más allá, el Ser supremo: ante ese linga me inclino.

   Worshipped by Brihaspati and the best of the gods, ever honoured with flowers of the heavenly gardens, beyond the beyond, the supreme Self: to that linga I bow.

   देवगुरु और श्रेष्ठ देवों से पूजित, देववन के फूलों से सदा अर्चित, परात्पर, परमात्म स्वरूप लिंग को प्रणाम।

   Honoré par Brihaspati et les meilleurs des dieux, toujours paré des fleurs des jardins célestes, au-delà de l’au-delà, le Soi suprême : devant ce linga je m’incline.

9. Phalashruti

   लिङ्गाष्टकमिदं पुण्यं यः पठेच्छिवसन्निधौ। शिवलोकमवाप्नोति शिवेन सह मोदते॥

   Lingashtakamidam punyam yah pathechchhivasannidhau, Shivalokamavapnoti shivena saha modate.

   Quien recita este sagrado Lingashtakam cerca de Shiva alcanza el mundo de Shiva y se regocija con él.

   Whoever recites this sacred Lingashtakam near Shiva reaches Shiva’s world and rejoices with him.

   जो शिव के समीप इस पवित्र लिंगाष्टक का पाठ करता है, वह शिवलोक पाता है और शिव के साथ आनन्दित होता है।

   Qui récite ce saint Lingashtakam près de Shiva atteint le monde de Shiva et se réjouit avec lui.
