ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆସନ ଉପରେ ବସନ୍ତୁ। ଦୀପ ଜାଳନ୍ତୁ, ହାତ ଯୋଡ଼ନ୍ତୁ ଓ ଗଣେଶଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ଭାବେ ଧ୍ୟାନ କରନ୍ତୁ, ତା'ପରେ ଶ୍ଳୋକ ପଢ଼ନ୍ତୁ।
Sit on the mat facing the murti. Light the diya, fold your hands and picture Ganesha clearly, then say the verse.
आसन पर मूर्ति के सामने बैठें। दीपक जलाएँ, हाथ जोड़ें, गणेश जी का स्पष्ट ध्यान करें और श्लोक बोलें।
Asseyez-vous sur le tapis face à la murti. Allumez la diya, joignez les mains, représentez-vous Ganesha clairement, puis dites le vers.
गजाननं भूतगणादिसेवितं कपित्थजम्बूफलसारभक्षणम्।

I bow at the lotus feet of Vighneshvara, the elephant-faced, son of Uma, who ends all sorrow.
हाथी के मुख वाले, उमा-पुत्र, शोक का नाश करने वाले विघ्नेश्वर के चरण-कमलों को नमन।

କ’ଣ କରିବେ
ଯୋଡ଼ା ହାତରେ କିଛି ଅକ୍ଷତ ଓ ଗୋଟିଏ ଫୁଲ ଧରନ୍ତୁ। ଗଣେଶଙ୍କୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବାକୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରନ୍ତୁ, ଶ୍ଳୋକ ପଢ଼ନ୍ତୁ, ଏବଂ ସେଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ପାଖରେ ରଖନ୍ତୁ।
Hold a few akshata and a flower in folded hands. Invite Ganesha to be present, say the verse, and place them at the murti.
जुड़े हाथों में कुछ अक्षत और एक फूल लें। गणेश जी को पधारने का निमन्त्रण दें, श्लोक बोलें और मूर्ति पर अर्पित करें।
Tenez quelques akshata et une fleur dans les mains jointes. Invitez Ganesha à être présent, dites le vers et déposez-les devant la murti.

Come, O Lord, and be settled in this place. For as long as I perform this puja, stay close to me.
हे भगवन्, पधारें और इस स्थान पर स्थिर हों; जब तक मैं पूजा करूँ, तब तक आप यहाँ विराजें।
Viens, ô Seigneur, et demeure en ce lieu. Aussi longtemps que j’accomplis cette puja, reste près de moi.

କର୍ପୂର ଜାଳନ୍ତୁ ଓ ଆରତୀ ଗାନ କରନ୍ତୁ, ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଶିଖାକୁ ଘଡ଼ି କଣ୍ଟା ଦିଗରେ ବୁଲାଇ। ତା'ପରେ ଦୁଇ ହାତରେ ଶିଖାର ଉଷ୍ମତାକୁ ନିଜ ଆଖିରେ ଲଗାନ୍ତୁ।
Light the camphor and sing the aarti, circling the flame clockwise before the murti. Then take the warmth of the flame to your eyes with both hands.
कपूर जलाकर आरती गाएँ, लौ को मूर्ति के सामने दाहिनी ओर से घुमाएँ। फिर दोनों हाथों से लौ की ऊष्मा आँखों पर लें।
Allumez le camphre et chantez l’aarti, en faisant tourner la flamme dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre devant la murti. Puis portez la chaleur de la flamme à vos yeux des deux mains.
