Gayatri Mantra

1. ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः। तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि। धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्॥

   Om bhurbhuvah svah, Tatsaviturvarenyam bhargo devasya dhimahi, Dhiyo yo nah prachodayat.

   We meditate on the adorable light of the divine Savitri, who pervades earth, sky and heaven; may it awaken our understanding.

   पृथ्वी, अन्तरिक्ष और स्वर्ग में व्याप्त सविता देव के वरणीय तेज का हम ध्यान करते हैं; वह हमारी बुद्धि को प्रेरित करे।

   Méditons la lumière adorable du divin Savitri, qui emplit la terre, l’air et le ciel ; qu’elle éveille notre intelligence.
