सङ्कटनाशन गणेश स्तोत्रम्

1. श्लोक 1

   प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम्। भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यमायुःकामार्थसिद्धये॥

   Pranamya shirasa devam gauriputram vinayakam, Bhaktavasam smarennityamayuhkamarthasiddhaye.

   Bowing the head to the god Vinayaka, son of Gauri, who dwells in his devotees, remember him every day for long life, for the heart’s wishes and for prosperity.

   सिर झुकाकर गौरीपुत्र विनायक देव को प्रणाम कर, जो भक्तों में वास करते हैं, आयु, कामना और अर्थ की सिद्धि के लिए उनका नित्य स्मरण करें।

   En inclinant la tête devant le dieu Vinayaka, fils de Gauri, qui demeure en ses dévots, souvenez-vous de lui chaque jour pour une longue vie, les vœux du cœur et la prospérité.

2. श्लोक 2

   प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम्। तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम्॥

   Prathamam vakratundam cha ekadantam dvitiyakam, Tritiyam krishnapingaksham gajavaktram chaturthakam.

   First, Vakratunda, the curved trunk; second, Ekadanta, the one-tusked; third, Krishnapingaksha, the dark-and-tawny-eyed; fourth, Gajavaktra, the elephant-faced.

   पहला वक्रतुण्ड, दूसरा एकदन्त, तीसरा कृष्णपिंगाक्ष, चौथा गजवक्त्र।

   Premièrement Vakratunda, la trompe recourbée ; deuxièmement Ekadanta, à une défense ; troisièmement Krishnapingaksha, aux yeux sombres et fauves ; quatrièmement Gajavaktra, à face d’éléphant.

3. श्लोक 3

   लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च। सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम्॥

   Lambodaram panchamam cha shashtham vikatameva cha, Saptamam vighnarajendram dhumravarnam tathashtamam.

   Fifth, Lambodara, the great-bellied; sixth, Vikata, the formidable; seventh, Vighnarajendra, king of obstacles; eighth, Dhumravarna, the smoke-coloured.

   पाँचवाँ लम्बोदर, छठा विकट, सातवाँ विघ्नराजेन्द्र, आठवाँ धूम्रवर्ण।

   Cinquièmement Lambodara, au grand ventre ; sixièmement Vikata, le redoutable ; septièmement Vighnarajendra, roi des obstacles ; huitièmement Dhumravarna, couleur de fumée.

4. श्लोक 4

   नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम्। एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम्॥

   Navamam bhalachandram cha dashamam tu vinayakam, Ekadasham ganapatim dvadasham tu gajananam.

   Ninth, Bhalachandra, with the moon on his brow; tenth, Vinayaka; eleventh, Ganapati, lord of the hosts; twelfth, Gajanana, the elephant-faced.

   नौवाँ भालचन्द्र, दसवाँ विनायक, ग्यारहवाँ गणपति, बारहवाँ गजानन।

   Neuvièmement Bhalachandra, la lune au front ; dixièmement Vinayaka ; onzièmement Ganapati, seigneur des cohortes ; douzièmement Gajanana, à face d’éléphant.

5. फलश्रुति

   द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः। न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं प्रभो॥

   Dvadashaitani namani trisandhyam yah pathennarah, Na cha vighnabhayam tasya sarvasiddhikaram prabho.

   Whoever recites these twelve names at the three junctions of the day has no fear of obstacles; O Lord, they bring every accomplishment.

   जो इन बारह नामों का तीनों सन्ध्याओं में पाठ करता है, उसे विघ्न का भय नहीं होता; हे प्रभु, ये सब सिद्धियाँ देने वाले हैं।

   Qui récite ces douze noms aux trois jonctions du jour n’a nulle peur des obstacles ; ô Seigneur, ils apportent tout accomplissement.

6. फलश्रुति

   विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम्। पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान्मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम्॥

   Vidyarthi labhate vidyam dhanarthi labhate dhanam, Putrarthi labhate putranmoksharthi labhate gatim.

   The seeker of learning gains learning, the seeker of wealth gains wealth, the one who wants children gains children, the seeker of liberation gains the goal.

   विद्या चाहने वाला विद्या पाता है, धन चाहने वाला धन, पुत्र चाहने वाला पुत्र, और मोक्ष चाहने वाला परम गति।

   Qui cherche le savoir obtient le savoir, qui cherche la richesse obtient la richesse, qui désire des enfants obtient des enfants, qui cherche la libération atteint le but.

7. फलश्रुति

   जपेद्गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासैः फलं लभेत्। संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशयः॥

   Japedganapatistotram shadbhirmasaih phalam labhet, Sanvatsarena siddhim cha labhate natra sanshayah.

   Recite this hymn to Ganapati: in six months the fruit comes, and in a year accomplishment; of this there is no doubt.

   इस गणपति स्तोत्र का जप करें: छह महीनों में फल मिलता है, और एक वर्ष में सिद्धि; इसमें सन्देह नहीं।

   Récitez cet hymne à Ganapati : en six mois vient le fruit, et en un an l’accomplissement ; il n’y a là aucun doute.

8. फलश्रुति

   अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा यः समर्पयेत्। तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादतः॥

   Ashtabhyo brahmanebhyashcha likhitva yah samarpayet, Tasya vidya bhavetsarva ganeshasya prasadatah.

   Whoever writes it out and gives it to eight learned brahmanas gains all knowledge by the grace of Ganesha.

   जो इसे लिखकर आठ ब्राह्मणों को अर्पित करता है, गणेश की कृपा से उसे सारी विद्या प्राप्त होती है।

   Qui le recopie et l’offre à huit brahmanes savants obtient tout savoir par la grâce de Ganesha.
