Traditionnel
- Refrain · À chanter après chaque strophe
Om jaya gange mata, shri jaya gange mata, Jo nara tumako dhyata, manavanchhita phala pata.
Victory to Mother Ganga! Whoever meditates on you receives what the heart desires.
Chandra si jyoti tumhari, jala nirmala ata, Sharana pare jo teri, so nara tara jata.
Your light is like the moon’s, your water flows pure; whoever falls at your refuge is carried across.
Putra sagara ke tare, saba jaga ko jnata, Kripa drishti tumhari, tribhuvana sukha data.
You carried the sons of Sagara across, as all the world knows; your gracious glance gives joy to the three worlds.
Eka hi bara jo teri, sharanagati ata, Yama ki trasa mita kara, paramagati pata.
Whoever comes to your shelter even once is freed from the fear of Yama and reaches the highest state.
Arati mata tumhari, jo jana nita gata, Dasa vahi sahaja mem, mukti ko pata.
Whoever sings your aarti every day, Mother, that servant reaches liberation with ease.
