Rahu · Puranich mantra

1. अर्धकायं महावीर्यं चन्द्रादित्यविमर्दनम्। सिंहिकागर्भसम्भूतं तं राहुं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥

   Ardhakayam mahaviryam chandradityavimardanam, Sinhikagarbhasambhutam tam rahum pranamamyaham.

   Half-bodied, of great might, who eclipses the moon and the sun, born of Sinhika’s womb: I bow to Rahu.

   आधे शरीर वाले, महान पराक्रमी, चन्द्र और सूर्य को ग्रसने वाले, सिंहिका के गर्भ से उत्पन्न राहु को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।

   Au demi-corps, d’une grande puissance, qui éclipse la lune et le soleil, né du sein de Sinhika : je m’incline devant Rahu.
