1. पलाशपुष्पसंकाशं तारकाग्रहमस्तकम्। रौद्रं रौद्रात्मकं घोरं तं केतुं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥

   Palashapushpasankasham tarakagrahamastakam, Raudram raudratmakam ghoram tam ketum pranamamyaham.

   Red as the palasha flower, the head among stars and grahas, fierce and of fearsome nature: I bow to Ketu.

   पलाश के फूल के समान लाल, तारों और ग्रहों में शीर्ष, रौद्र, रौद्र स्वभाव वाले और घोर केतु को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।

   Rouge comme la fleur de palasha, la tête parmi les étoiles et les grahas, farouche et d’une nature redoutable : je m’incline devant Ketu.
