1. ॐ अश्वध्वजाय विद्महे शूलहस्ताय धीमहि। तन्नः केतुः प्रचोदयात्॥

   Om ashvadhvajaya vidmahe shulahastaya dhimahi, Tannah ketuh prachodayat.

   May we know him whose banner bears the horse; may we meditate on him who holds the trident; may Ketu awaken us.

   हम अश्व-ध्वज वाले को जानें, शूल धारण करने वाले का ध्यान करें; वे केतु हमें प्रेरित करें।

   Puissions-nous connaître celui dont l’étendard porte le cheval ; méditer sur celui qui tient le trident ; que Ketu nous éveille.
