Karagre Vasate Lakshmih

1. कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः करमध्ये सरस्वती। करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम्॥

   Karagre vasate lakshmih karamadhye sarasvati, Karamule tu govindah prabhate karadarshanam.

   At the tips of the fingers dwells Lakshmi, in the middle of the hand Sarasvati, and at its base Govinda. So, at dawn, look upon your hands.

   हाथ के अग्र भाग में लक्ष्मी, मध्य में सरस्वती और मूल में गोविन्द वास करते हैं; इसलिए प्रभात में अपने हाथों का दर्शन करें।

   Au bout des doigts demeure Lakshmi, au milieu de la main Sarasvati, et à sa base Govinda. Ainsi, à l’aube, regardez vos mains.
