ਮੂਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੈਠੋ। ਦੀਵਾ ਜਗਾਓ, ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜੋ, ਦੇਵੀ-ਦੇਵਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਬੋਲੋ।
Sit facing the murti. Light the diya, fold your hands, picture the deity clearly, and say the verse.
मूर्ति के सामने बैठें। दीपक जलाएँ, हाथ जोड़ें, देवता का स्पष्ट ध्यान करें और श्लोक बोलें।

Come, O Lord, and be settled in this place. For as long as I perform this puja, stay close to me.
