ಹೇ ವಕ್ರತುಂಡ, ಮಹಾಕಾಯ, ಕೋಟಿ ಸೂರ್ಯರಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವವನೇ: ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸದಾ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸು.

2Bhumi vandanaभूमि वन्दनाಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು
ಎರಡೂ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಸಿ, ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳಿ, ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಲಿ, ಅರಿಶಿನ, ಅಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ.

ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಶೇಷನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ನಾಗವನ್ನೂ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಕಲಶವನ್ನೂ (ನೀರು, ಒಂದು ನಾಣ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಹೂವಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ) ಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿ.

ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು, ಹೇಗೆ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು, ಹೇಗೆ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು.
I do not know how to invite you, nor how to bid you farewell, nor even how to worship. Forgive me, Supreme Lord.
