શું કરવું
તોરણ બાંધો, દરવાજાની બંને બાજુ રોલીથી સ્વસ્તિક દોરો, અને અક્ષત તથા ફૂલથી ઉંબરાની પૂજા કરો.
Hang the torana, draw a svastika with roli on either side of the door, and worship the threshold with akshata and a flower.
तोरण बाँधें, द्वार के दोनों ओर रोली से स्वस्तिक बनाएँ, और अक्षत व फूल से देहरी की पूजा करें।
Accrochez le torana, tracez un svastika au roli de chaque côté de la porte, et honorez le seuil avec akshata et une fleur.

શું કરવું
ઘરની ગૃહલક્ષ્મી કળશ ઉપાડે; મુહૂર્તે, મંત્ર બોલતાં, સાથે મળીને જમણો પગ પહેલો મૂકી પ્રવેશ કરો.
The lady of the house carries the kalasha; step in together with the right foot first, at the muhurta, chanting the mantra.
गृहिणी कलश लेकर चलें; मुहूर्त पर मन्त्र जपते हुए सब मिलकर पहले दाहिना पैर रखकर प्रवेश करें।
La maîtresse de maison porte le kalasha ; entrez ensemble du pied droit en premier, au muhurta, en chantant le mantra.

3Ganesha · Vastuगणेश · वास्तुશું કરવું
ઈશાન ખૂણે કળશ સ્થાપો, ગણેશ (જુઓ ગણેશ પૂજા) અને વાસ્તુ પુરુષ (જુઓ વાસ્તુ પૂજા)ની પૂજા કરો.
Set the kalasha at the north-east, worship Ganesha (see Ganesha Puja) and Vastu Purusha (see Vastu Puja).
कलश ईशान कोण में रखें, गणेश (गणेश पूजा देखें) और वास्तु पुरुष (वास्तु पूजा देखें) का पूजन करें।

શું કરવું
રસોડામાં પહેલી વાર ચૂલો પ્રગટાવો અને દૂધ ઉભરાઈને બહાર ઢળે ત્યાં સુધી ઉકાળો: ઘર સમૃદ્ધિથી છલકાશે તેનું આ શુભ ચિહ્ન છે.
In the kitchen, light the stove for the first time and boil the milk until it rises and spills over: a sign that the home will overflow with plenty.
रसोई में पहली बार चूल्हा जलाकर दूध उबालें जब तक वह उफनकर बाहर न आ जाए: इस बात का संकेत कि घर समृद्धि से भरा रहेगा।
À la cuisine, allumez le feu pour la première fois et faites bouillir le lait jusqu’à ce qu’il monte et déborde : signe que la maison débordera d’abondance.
શું કરવું
શક્ય હોય તો હવન કરો (ગણપતિ કે વાસ્તુ હવન), આરતી ગાઓ, અને મહેમાનો તથા મદદ કરનાર સૌને જમાડો.
Offer a havan if you can (Ganapati or Vastu Havan), sing the aarti, and feed the guests and anyone who helped.
हो सके तो हवन करें (गणपति या वास्तु हवन), आरती गाएँ, और अतिथियों व सहायकों को भोजन कराएँ।
Offrez un havan si possible (Ganapati ou Vastu Havan), chantez l’aarti, et nourrissez les invités et ceux qui ont aidé.
आवाहनं न जानामि न जानामि विसर्जनम्।
पूजां चैव न जानामि क्षमस्व परमेश्वर॥
આવાહનં ન જાનામિ ન જાનામિ વિસર્જનમ્।
પૂજાં ચૈવ ન જાનામિ ક્ષમસ્વ પરમેશ્વર॥
હું નથી જાણતો કે આવાહન કેવી રીતે કરવું, નથી જાણતો વિસર્જન, નથી જાણતો પૂજાની વિધિ પણ. હે પરમેશ્વર, મને ક્ષમા કરો.
I do not know how to invite you, nor how to bid you farewell, nor even how to worship. Forgive me, Supreme Lord.
मैं न आवाहन जानता हूँ, न विसर्जन, न ही पूजा की विधि; हे परमेश्वर, मुझे क्षमा करें।
Je ne sais ni t’inviter, ni te dire adieu, ni même te rendre un culte. Pardonne-moi, Seigneur suprême.
