   जय सन्तोषी माता, मैया जय सन्तोषी माता। अपने सेवक जन की, सुख सम्पति दाता॥

   જય સંતોષી માતા, મૈયા જય સંતોષી માતા। અપને સેવક જન કી, સુખ સંપતિ દાતા॥

   સંતોષી માતાનો જય હો, જે પોતાની સેવા કરનારાંને સુખ-સંપત્તિ આપે છે!

   Victory to Mother Santoshi, who gives joy and plenty to those who serve her!

   सन्तोषी माता की जय हो, जो अपने सेवकों को सुख-सम्पत्ति देती हैं!

   Victoire à Mère Santoshi, qui donne joie et abondance à ceux qui la servent !

2. પદ 1

   सुन्दर चीर सुनहरी, माँ धारण कीन्हों। हीरा पन्ना दमके, तन श्रृंगार लीन्हों॥

   સુંદર ચીર સુનહરી, માઁ ધારણ કીંહોં। હીરા પંના દમકે, તન શ્રૃંગાર લીંહોં॥

   મા, આપે સુંદર સોનેરી વસ્ત્ર ધારણ કર્યું છે; શણગારેલા તન પર હીરા અને પન્ના ચમકે છે.

   Mother, you wear a lovely golden garment; diamonds and emeralds sparkle on your adorned body.

   माँ ने सुन्दर सुनहरा वस्त्र धारण किया है; हीरे-पन्ने चमकते हैं, तन पर श्रृंगार सजा है।

   Mère, tu portes un beau vêtement doré ; diamants et émeraudes scintillent sur ton corps paré.

3. પદ 2

   गेरू लाल छटा छवि, बदन कमल सोहे। मंद हँसत करुणामयी, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥

   ગેરૂ લાલ છટા છવિ, બદન કમલ સોહે। મંદ હઁસત કરુણામયી, ત્રિભુવન જન મોહે॥

   આપનું રૂપ ગેરુઆ-લાલ રંગે દીપે છે, મુખ કમળ જેવું શોભે છે; આપનું કોમળ, કરુણાભર્યું સ્મિત ત્રણે લોકને મોહે છે.

   Your form glows with ochre-red, your face shines like a lotus; your gentle, compassionate smile enchants the three worlds.

   गेरुए लाल रंग की छटा, मुख कमल जैसा सुशोभित; करुणामयी माँ की मन्द मुस्कान तीनों लोकों को मोहित करती है।

   Ta forme rayonne d’ocre rouge, ton visage brille comme un lotus ; ton doux sourire compatissant charme les trois mondes.

4. પદ 3

   स्वर्ण सिंहासन बैठी, चँवर ढुरें प्यारे। धूप दीप मधु मेवा, भोग धरें न्यारे॥

   સ્વર્ણ સિંહાસન બૈઠી, ચઁવર ઢુરેં પ્યારે। ધૂપ દીપ મધુ મેવા, ભોગ ધરેં ંયારે॥

   આપ સોનાના સિંહાસન પર બિરાજો છો અને ચામર હળવેથી ઢોળાય છે; ધૂપ, દીપ, મધ અને મેવા આપની સમક્ષ ધરાયાં છે.

   You sit on a golden throne as fans are gently waved; incense, lamp, honey and dried fruit are set before you.

   आप सोने के सिंहासन पर बैठी हैं, प्यारे चँवर डुलते हैं; धूप, दीप, मधु और मेवे का भोग सजा है।

   Tu es assise sur un trône d’or tandis qu’on agite doucement les éventails ; encens, lampe, miel et fruits secs sont posés devant toi.

5. પદ 4

   गुड़ अरु चना परम प्रिय, तामें संतोष कियो। सन्तोषी कहलाई, भक्तन वैभव दियो॥

   ગુડ અરુ ચના પરમ પ્રિય, તામેં સંતોષ કિયો। સંતોષી કહલાઈ, ભક્તન વૈભવ દિયો॥

   ગોળ અને ચણા આપને સૌથી પ્રિય છે, અને તેમાં જ આપ સંતોષ પામો છો; તેથી આપ સંતોષી કહેવાઓ છો, અને આપ ભક્તોને વૈભવ આપો છો.

   Jaggery and chickpeas are dearest to you, and with them you are content; so you are called Santoshi, and you give your devotees plenty.

   गुड़ और चना आपको अत्यन्त प्रिय हैं, उन्हीं में आपने सन्तोष किया; इसीलिए सन्तोषी कहलाईं और भक्तों को वैभव दिया।

   Le jaggery et les pois chiches te sont très chers, et tu t’en contentes ; ainsi on t’appelle Santoshi, et tu donnes l’abondance à tes dévots.

6. પદ 5

   शुक्रवार प्रिय मानत, आज दिवस सोही। भक्त मण्डली छाई, कथा सुनत मोही॥

   શુક્રવાર પ્રિય માનત, આજ દિવસ સોહી। ભક્ત મંડલી છાઈ, કથા સુનત મોહી॥

   શુક્રવાર આપને પ્રિય છે, અને આજે એ જ દિવસ છે; આપના ભક્તો ભેગા થયા છે, આપની કથા સાંભળવામાં મગ્ન.

   Friday is dear to you, and today is that day; your devotees have gathered, rapt in hearing your story.

   आपको शुक्रवार प्रिय है, आज वही दिन है; भक्त मण्डली जुटी है, कथा सुनकर मुग्ध है।

   Le vendredi t’est cher, et c’est aujourd’hui ce jour ; tes dévots se sont réunis, ravis d’entendre ton histoire.

7. પદ 6

   मन्दिर जगमग ज्योति, मंगल ध्वनि छाई। विनय करें हम बालक, चरनन सिर नाई॥

   મંદિર જગમગ જ્યોતિ, મંગલ ધ્વનિ છાઈ। વિનય કરેં હમ બાલક, ચરનન સિર નાઈ॥

   મંદિર જ્યોતિથી ઝળહળે છે અને મંગળ ધ્વનિ ગુંજે છે; અમે, આપનાં બાળકો, આપના ચરણોમાં શીશ નમાવીને વિનંતી કરીએ છીએ.

   The temple glows with light and auspicious sound fills the air; we, your children, pray to you with heads bowed at your feet.

   मन्दिर में ज्योति जगमगा रही है, मंगल ध्वनि गूँज रही है; हम बालक आपके चरणों में सिर झुकाकर विनती करते हैं।

   Le temple brille de lumière, un son propice emplit l’air ; nous, tes enfants, te prions la tête inclinée à tes pieds.

8. પદ 7

   भक्ति भावमय पूजा, अंगीकृत कीजै। जो मन बसे हमारे, इच्छा फल दीजै॥

   ભક્તિ ભાવમય પૂજા, અંગીકૃત કીજૈ। જો મન બસે હમારે, ઇચ્છા ફલ દીજૈ॥

   ભક્તિભાવથી કરેલી આ પૂજા સ્વીકારો; જે ઇચ્છા અમારા હૃદયમાં વસે છે, તે પૂરી કરો.

   Accept this puja made with devotion; grant the wish that lives in our hearts.

   भक्ति-भाव से की गई यह पूजा स्वीकार कीजिए; जो इच्छा हमारे मन में बसी है, उसका फल दीजिए।

   Accepte cette puja faite avec dévotion ; exauce le vœu qui vit dans nos cœurs.

9. પદ 8

   दुखी दरिद्री रोगी, संकटमुक्त किए। बहु धनधान्य भरे घर, सुख सौभाग्य दिए॥

   દુખી દરિદ્રી રોગી, સંકટમુક્ત કિએ। બહુ ધનધાંય ભરે ઘર, સુખ સૌભાગ્ય દિએ॥

   આપે દુઃખી, દરિદ્ર અને રોગીને સંકટમાંથી મુક્ત કર્યાં; ઘરોને ધન-ધાન્યથી ભર્યાં, અને સુખ-સૌભાગ્ય આપ્યું.

   You freed the sorrowful, the poor and the sick from their troubles; you filled homes with grain and plenty, and gave joy and good fortune.

   आपने दुखी, दरिद्र और रोगी को संकट से मुक्त किया; घरों को धन-धान्य से भरा और सुख-सौभाग्य दिया।

   Tu délivras de leurs peines les affligés, les pauvres et les malades ; tu remplis les maisons de grain et d’abondance, et donnas joie et bonne fortune.

10. પદ 9

    ध्यान धर्यो जिस जन ने, मनवांछित फल पायो। पूजा कथा श्रवण कर, घर आनन्द आयो॥

    ધ્યાન ધર્યો જિસ જન ને, મનવાંછિત ફલ પાયો। પૂજા કથા શ્રવણ કર, ઘર આનંદ આયો॥

    જેણે આપનું ધ્યાન કર્યું, તેણે મનવાંછિત ફળ પામ્યું; આપની પૂજા અને કથા સાંભળીને ઘરમાં આનંદ આવ્યો.

    Whoever meditated on you gained the heart’s wish; hearing your puja and story, joy came into the home.

    जिसने आपका ध्यान किया, उसने मनचाहा फल पाया; पूजा और कथा सुनकर घर में आनन्द आया।

    Qui a médité sur toi a obtenu le vœu de son cœur ; en écoutant ta puja et ton histoire, la joie est entrée dans la maison.

11. પદ 10

    शरण गहे की लज्जा, राखियो जगदम्बे। संकट तू ही निवारे, दयामयी अम्बे॥

    શરણ ગહે કી લજ્જા, રાખિયો જગદંબે। સંકટ તૂ હી નિવારે, દયામયી અંબે॥

    હે જગદંબા, જે આપના શરણે આવ્યાં છે તેમની લાજ રાખો; હે દયામયી અંબા, આપ જ અમારાં સંકટ દૂર કરો છો.

    Keep the honour of those who have taken your refuge, Mother of the world; you alone remove our troubles, merciful Amba.

    हे जगदम्बे, शरण में आए की लाज रखना; हे दयामयी अम्बे, आप ही संकट दूर करती हैं।

    Garde l’honneur de ceux qui ont pris refuge en toi, Mère du monde ; toi seule ôtes nos peines, Amba miséricordieuse.

12. પદ 11

    सन्तोषी माँ की आरती, जो कोई नर गावे। ऋद्धि-सिद्धि सुख सम्पत्ति, जी भरकर पावे॥

    સંતોષી માઁ કી આરતી, જો કોઈ નર ગાવે। ઋદ્ધિ-સિદ્ધિ સુખ સંપત્તિ, જી ભરકર પાવે॥

    જે કોઈ સંતોષી માતાની આરતી ગાય છે, તે ઋદ્ધિ, સિદ્ધિ, સુખ અને સંપત્તિ ભરપૂર પામે છે.

    Whoever sings the aarti of Mother Santoshi receives, in full measure, prosperity, accomplishment, joy and plenty.

    जो कोई सन्तोषी माँ की आरती गाता है, वह ऋद्धि-सिद्धि और सुख-सम्पत्ति जी भरकर पाता है।

    Quiconque chante l’aarti de Mère Santoshi reçoit en pleine mesure prospérité, accomplissement, joie et abondance.
